Drops: Language Learning Games

Drops (a Kahoot! company) is a company that takes the “boring” out of language learning. The most valuable words are transmitted to your brain via stunning minimalist images and swiftly speed micro-games. The most enjoyable part? It takes just 5 minutes every day. That’s all the time you’ll get! Insane? Yes. Works? Absolutely!

Drops are entirely visual. We use images to connect the meaning of the words to the importance of your language! No intermediary. Faster, better, and more enjoyable! :)

The barrier to entry is virtually non-existent. You always have five minutes! 5 minute limit on sessions. Limiting learning time might appear counterintuitive, but it creates Drops extremely addictive, which is an exemplary aspect of learning languages.

Continuous practice and practice. We took a close review of the reasons games are so enjoyable and addictive. We then put the spirit of games into Drops to make an amazingly immersive app. However, you do not waste time playing in this instance but instead build a valuable asset: understanding an entirely new language.

Vocabulary emphasis: No grammar, only words that have a high value. Drops’ focus is on a single thing and does it very efficiently. Slides also offer “alphabet” courses for Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Hebrew, Arabic, Russian, and Hindi.

You can now choose among Mandarin Chinese & Cantonese Chinese, Castilian Spanish & Latin-American Spanish, American English & British English, and also between European Portuguese & Brazilian Portuguese.
