God of War Ghost of Sparta Kratos embarks on a second Journey to The PSP, and we see him from a different side than ever before. GOW’s protagonist Kratos is a bitter, sad anti-hero who shouts out witty one-liners as he battles titans and gods. He can be a bit monotonous in his quest for revenge, but that is something I must admit. Also, I believe God of War GOS is an essential and Best part of the series. GoS shows us parts of Kratos that have not been seen before, such as love and compassion. I think God of War Ghost of Sparta is one of the best stories in the GOW Series.

Is the gameplay any different from other GOW titles? Yes! It was! It was quickly forgotten when I began playing the game and saw that it was as good as any ps2 title. Graphics and control are also excellent. But, it was missing an essential element, the bosses. God of War is about epic boss battles, big bosses, and unique quick-time events. It did not show these elements much in Chains of Olympus. Ready at Dawn has listened, as there are many of them in God of War Ghost of Sparta. GoS has at least the same number of bosses and events as their PS2 counterparts. Almost even more. Sometimes, I felt God of War Ghost of Sparta was more like GOW 3 in gameplay. The graphic, I believe, was even better than the PS2 games, which is a good thing but not surprising. Spartas weapon choice, the shield or spear, is now available in GoS. It is not clear why they were not available in previous games. It is enjoyable to immobilize your enemies with the spear!

Are there cons? Yes. My love for Greek mythology is one of the main reasons I enjoy God of War. Kratos often encounters many characters from Greek mythology on his journeys. Unfortunately, you won’t see many of them in God of War Ghost of Sparta. God of War Ghost of Sparta is a story that focuses more on Kratos personally, and they may have had to take away a lot of that. I understand that, but a few guest appearances would be excellent.

It’s also available on the ps3 with HD graphics. You might consider getting that version to compare the differences if you have a PSP copy. It was hard, but it could be 9 of 10 Medusa’s heads. The first God of War demonstrated what is possible when you pay attention to both story and gameplay. The graphics are stunning, just like the previous games. It’s the same game. Even if the story was good, it could have been overlooked. This story is weaker than the others.

God of War Ghost of Sparta isn’t nearly as fascinating as it should be. We finally understand why Kratos is so mad. Although the cut scenes are amazing, they lack the magic of the scenes from previous games. It wasn’t easy to enjoy the game due to the intense use of mythology in the last round. Seeing the same old enemies and monsters that Kratos encountered was also frustrating. Ghost of Sparta’s boss battles is very limited. Chains of Olympus had better boss battles. I could not stop playing Chains of Olympus. Ghost of Sparta was a game I had to finish. Even then, I was able to finish it much earlier. The game’s playtime is only five to six hours, which is too little. This game is excellent for new players. Fans will find it disappointing.

God of War Ghost of Sparta is perhaps the best game for fantasy, battle, mythology, and adventure. It has overcome all of the unimaginable (Tomb Raider) and even the franchise’s own, 2018, which was disappointing in all aspects of the genres.

However, despite its fantastic ending, stunning effects (even on monsters), and clear family history, it has an appealing script. God of War Ghost of Sparta is the only God of War video game that you can still experience the old feelings of war fantasy in war fantasy, just like in Game Of Thrones and the books and films of The Hobbit or LOTR.
