Descenders are Presumably my number one game of all time. I work in highly high-pressure work, and there are days I need to return home and game without putting much thought into what I’m doing. I’ve done total runs from good countries to tops, desert to glacial masses. Opened all alternate routes and have moved past 10m rep. That has been all reset two times, and I repeated the experience and cherished each moment.

I even had an issue when I changed from Nvidia to AMD GPU, a bundle of projects I had for Nvidia was causing problems with a couple of games. Different games I just uninstalled. In any case, I spent a couple of hours sorting out some way to get this one to work, messaged Lex, and so on. Wound up changing the code so it would just open in some default disconnected mode. Played like that until I sorted out the underlying driver.

Never loved dashing games, and different sporting events like Skate don’t speak to me nowadays. In any case, man, every time I have some just a little and hop back in, I can play for quite a long time many days. Tracks are procedurally produced, so each new run differs from the last. Material science is excellent and is suggestive of another bicycle/ATV games. The soundtrack is quick and exciting, primarily good if drum n’ bass sort stuff. Having one of these tunes impacting while at the same time destroying a mountain at rankling speeds feels RIGHT. Such a lot about this game feels truly damn great.

Nearly feels like a small roguelike – as the randomized components are available, the courses you take through your runs are different each time. Lots of replayability. I haven’t gotten far along in the game at this point, yet it’s had a tremendous initial feeling on me. Just thing I could have done without is periodic erratic arrivals. You’ll swear you should have undergone a specific leap to bang the ground and tumble off your bicycle. However, this isn’t excessively intense of an issue, as it happens moderately occasionally.
