SciFi-Horror + pixel art? It was a no-brainer. I just saw the photos, purchased the game immediately, and went through it in about hours. It’s not a long game, but it’s a good one. I loved it quite a bit. Controls are easy but precise, and there’s an adequate number of weapons.

As the shooting is suitable, MP mode could be excellent and also add replay worth. One thing I wouldn’t say is I liked levels where you sprint from/to s.th. The initial one is okay, but the game isn’t that thrilling since there’s no real danger.

It is fun for short bursts of action! The levels are well-placed to complete a level in a quick burst while remaining fully immersed in the thrilling atmosphere and then take a break. Great soundtrack choices and jump scares keep you at the top on your feet! I’ll be playing through Ailment in the future, and I’m excited to see what is coming up!

The story is excellent, controls are simple, and the challenging setting to hardcore makes the game more enjoyable. The only thing I’m not happy about is the allocation of stats; as I nearly topped out every stat, it would have been preferred to allocate to 100 and still benefit from the lockers you can find.

A. I need improvement since they are often out of the way during battles and exploration. Weapons are enjoyable to play with but become tedious later because most guns have meager DMG/fire rates.
