Townscaper APK is an experimentation-based passion project. It’s more of a toy rather than an actual game. Pick colors from the palette, plop down colored house blocks on the irregular grid, and watch Townscaper’s underlying algorithm automatically turn them into cute little houses, arches, stairways, bridges, and lush backyards depending on their configuration.

Wow, what an entertaining game and digital toy. Just discovered it on different platforms and was excited to see the come out on mobile devices. It can create many interesting towns. Simple, intuitive, and comfortable, and you can hop into or out as you like. I’d like to see this idea expand to include landscapes, deserts, mountains, forests, and the urban aspect.

There aren’t any goals or objectives and no enemies, there is no time limit, and there are no bosses in this game. It’s more of a building toy and a truly adorable one to boot. There are plenty of fantastic tiny visual effects that it can view in context as well as it’s completely possible to spend hours creating tiny villages, massive castles, and bizarre abstractions.

I can’t highly recommend it enough. Very easy to use and comfortable. Have been waiting for this app to be available on Android from PC and am so happy it’s finally there. It’s more comfortable on mobile devices where it is possible to dip into and out whenever you’d like.

It’s important to remember that it’s just a toy for the sandbox, not a game with any specific goals. You create the game and see what happens. I would like to see a crowd of people mingling around in my small towns and adore every little detail generated procedurally. Highly recommended
